Photography for Movember

If you’re a fan of moustaches, beards, or portrait photography, November is truly your month to shine as Movember makes a return for its 12 year. The organisation has raised over £402 million to date in the UK across projects for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity, which is quite impressive when you consider the main activity of Movember is focussed around growing fur on your face.

This year the good folks at Movember have introduced a new element to their fundraising , encouraging Mo brothers and Mo sisters to take part in Move-mber. The idea behind adding the new ‘move’ element to the fundraising is to encourage people to add some get up and go to their lives while raising some money for charity too. If you’re one of those people who can’t really muster a moustache you’ll now be able to run, skip or jump into fundraising action during the month. Plus, if you’re fur free, there’s no reason you can’t snap a photo of some! Here are a few ideas for creative Movember inspired snaps, which you might love enough to transfer to canvas.

Making the most of that mo
Before and after photographs are a must for any gents taking part in November, which offers itself up as a great portrait project. Track the progress of your mo for all of your supporters by photographing your furry growth each day and at the end of the month you’ll have a great study of your face.
