But what happens when a beloved dog isn't exactly blessed with good looks? We believe every pet, no matter how ugly, deserves to feel special. That's why we have launched a national contest to find the UK's ugliest dog.
We want to celebrate every dog - no matter what they look like.
There's something beautiful about every pooch - even if it might be difficult to spot at first. So if your dog has a face only a mother could love, we'd love to hear from you.
We will choose one entrant from a shortlist of 12 to receive a free grooming and photography session, transforming your ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.
To enter simply email us with a pic of your dog, and include some details such as its name, age, breed, and where you live. Don't forget to include your own name and contact details.
